Alexandre Luneau

Alexandre started playing online poker in August 2007 and, with a deposit of $5, he steadily began building his bankroll.

When he realized he had a natural talent for poker, he began to study it seriously as well as focusing on heads-up games to improve his skill. He put in a lot of effort to work on his game, playing as often as possible, getting coaching tips from US players and watching videos of some of the best poker players in the world.

As his skill and bankroll improved, he started playing in higher stakes games, grinding his way through tournaments and ring games online. By December of 2008, Alexandre was regularly playing in $5K No-Limit Hold ‘em games, a level he continues to play and win at.

In 2009, his online earnings hit seven figures. He attributes his winnings to the amount of time he spends playing, and his ability to switch between games and buy-in amounts with ease.

Alexandre had another successful year online in 2010, but he also took his first steps toward becoming a serious live player, with strong showings at WSOP in Las Vegas in the $10K World Championship No-Limit Hold ‘em and the $3K HORSE events.

As part of Team Limpers, Alexandre is one of the most in-demand poker instructors in France and he regularly appears on TV, radio and in magazines discussing the game and offering expert analysis.
