- 2007 WSOP Main Event cash finish
- 1st place, WSOP-C $1K No-Limit Hold ‘em
- Over $100K in career earnings

It all started with a friendly visit back in June of 2003. Amanda stopped by to visit a friend, a friend who happened to be watching the WPT. Within a few hours, he had taught her the basics of Hold ‘em and played a few hands with her. That was it – Mandy B had a new passion.
She devoted the following summer to learning the game. Since then, Mandy B has made quite a name for herself playing online, earning better than $66K and the nickname “Satellite Queen” from other players. She used this success to propel herself into live tournament play after winning a seat in the 2005 WPT Main Event playing on Full Tilt Poker. Since cashing in that event, Mandy B has made it to the cash in several other WPT and WSOP events. Most notably, she went deep in the 2007 WSOP Main Event to earn more than $45K.
This past October saw Mandy’s strongest performance yet. Starting in a field of almost 300 competitors, Mandy took down the $1K No-Limit Hold ‘em event at the WSOPC event at Caesar’s in Indiana. For her efforts, she took home over $88K. All told, Mandy B has cashed for more than $154K in live events.
Though she’s been a No-Limit Hold ‘em specialist, Amanda is looking to branch out to other forms of poker, which isn’t good news for her opponents. She’s working on getting other aspects of her game into shape, much the same way she devotes time and energy to her personal exercise regime.
Away from the table, Mandy B – a Colorado native – keeps herself sharp by focusing on other passions, including exercise and wildlife/environmental conservation. She donates time and money to a variety of environmental groups and charities, and believes that maintaining a well-rounded life away from the table helps to keep her game sharp when the cards begin to fly.
