In 2007, he completed his studies and decided to play poker full time.
Andrew achieved impressive tournament results in his breakout year. He finished 3rd in the £750 No-Limit Hold 'em event at the 2007 UK Grosvenor Poker Tour, winning over $17K. Eighteen days later, he won the UK Open IV Finals in Maidstone for a $250K payday. He won more than $40K for a 4th place finish in the €2K No-Limit Hold 'em event at the EPT in Prague. In 2008, Andrew went deep in the Aussie Millions Main Event and won over $21K.
In 2010, he reached the final four of the WSOP Europe Heads Up High Roller event, before being eliminated by the eventual winner, Team Full Tilt’s Gus Hansen. Andrew’s long run in the tournament earned him £96K ($148K).
Andrew also has a keen interest in sport. During his college years, he represented England in badminton at the Macabbiah sports games in Israel. He is also a dedicated Watford FC fan. When he’s not cheering on his favorite team, Andrew can be found watching tennis or cricket.
