2010 Aussie Millions Main Event
With a star-studded field including Team Full Tilt members Phil Ivey, Tom Dwan, Gus Hansen, Erick Lindgren and Howard Lederer, a total of 746 challengers sat down at the tables of the Crown Casino in Melbourne in 2010 to battle it out for an AUD$7.46 million prize pool in the Aussie Millions Main Event.
Over four days the field was whittled down to a final table that included Full Tilt Poker pro Annette Obrestad. A marathon 13-hour session ensued, with Obrestad taking 7th place and an AUD$175,000 payday.
In the end it was 23-year-old Australian poker player Tyron Krost who outlasted all challengers to take home the AUD$2 million top prize and keep title in its native land for the second straight year.
