Promotion Name: Challenge durrrr (the “Promotion”)

Promotion Dates: Saturday, February 26th, 2011 – Sunday, March 27th, 2011

Starting on Saturday, February 26th, 2011, players will have the opportunity to participate in a series of challenges to earn the right to play Team Full Tilt member Tom “durrrr” Dwan for a $1.5 million grand prize.

In order to be eligible to win any prizes associated with the Promotion, players must first elect to participate in the Promotion by going to their personal Challenge durrrr webpage in the “My Promotions” section of the game Cashier and clicking the “Accept” button on the page.

Once players have accepted the Promotion, they are eligible to participate in Challenge 1 and may attempt to qualify for the subsequent Challenges.

Challenge 1 – Ring Games

From 00:00 ET on Saturday, February 26th, 2011, through 23:59 ET on Sunday, March 13th, 2011, players can earn Challenge durrrr Leaderboard chips by winning hands at eligible ring game and Rush Poker* tables.

In order to earn Leaderboard chips, players must be playing at least two real-money No-Limit Hold ‘em or Pot Limit Omaha ring game tables simultaneously, or at least one No-Limit Hold ‘em or Pot Limit Omaha Rush Poker* ring game table. Only 6-Max and full ring tables are eligible, heads-up ring game tables do not count toward the Promotion.

Players earn Leaderboard chips in hands that meet the following conditions (“qualifying hands”):

  • At least three players are dealt into the hand
  • The hand reaches the flop (community cards are dealt)

Leaderboard chips are awarded based on the number of players dealt into qualifying hands. If six (6) players are dealt into a qualifying hand and one player wins the main pot, that player receives six (6) Leaderboard chips for that hand. If the main pot is split between two players, each winning player receives three (3) Leaderboard chips for that hand. All losing players will receive zero (0) Leaderboard chips for that hand.

Please note that players must first accept the Promotion (as detailed above) in order to begin earning Leaderboard chips. Leaderboard chips will not be retroactively awarded if the Promotion is not accepted before players begin to participate.

Players who participate in at least 500 qualifying hands at one of the three stake levels detailed below will have their Leaderboard chips score posted on a Challenge durrrr Leaderboard. There are three different Challenge durrrr Leaderboards, which are determined by ring-game stake levels:

  • Low - $0.01/$0.02 to $0.10/$0.20
  • Medium - $0.10/$0.25 to $0.50/$1.00
  • High - $1.00/$2.00 and higher

Once players have reached the 500 qualifying hand threshold, they can continue playing and attempt to beat their original score. For each qualifying hand played after reaching the threshold, the player’s Leaderboard chip score will be based on the amount of chips earned in their last 500 qualifying hands played. If at any point this score is higher than the original score posted on the Leaderboard, the current score will replace the original score on the Leaderboard and become that player’s official chip score for the Promotion.

At the end of the Challenge 1 period, the top 1,000 finishers on the Low Leaderboard, the top 750 finishers on the Medium Leaderboard and the top 500 finishers on the High Leaderboard will all advance to Challenge 2.

Full Tilt Point Multipliers

As an added bonus to Challenge 1 participants, any player who participates in at least 500 qualifying hands at one of the three stake levels and posts a score of at least 500 chips on a Challenge durrrr Leaderboard will receive a Full Tilt Points multiplier based on the Leaderboard where their score was posted:

  • Players who post a score of 500 chips or more on the Low Leaderboard will earn a 2x Full Tilt Points multiplier
  • Players who post a score of 500 chips or more on the Medium Leaderboard will earn a 3x Full Tilt Points multiplier
  • Players who post a score of 500 chips or more on the High Leaderboard will earn a 4x Full Tilt Points multiplier

Please note that while players may post a score on more than one Leaderboard, they will only earn a Full Tilt Points multiplier for the highest Leaderboard they post a score on.

The Full Tilt Points multiplier will be applied to the amount of Full Tilt Points earned in all qualifying hands played during Challenge 1 of the Promotion. For example, if a player posts a chip score of 500 or more on the Low Leaderboard and earns a total of 750 Full Tilt Points in qualifying hands during Challenge 1, they will receive the 2x Full Tilt Points multiplier and earn an additional 750 Full Tilt Points for a total of 1,500 Full Tilt Points.

Any bonus Full Tilt Points earned through the Promotion will be credited to player accounts after Sunday, March 13th and by Thursday, March 17th, 2011.

Please note that bonus Full Tilt Points earned through other Full Tilt Poker promotions (such as Black Card and Happy Hour) do not count toward the multiplier.

Challenge 2 – Freeroll Tournaments

The top Leaderboard finishers from Challenge 1 (as detailed above) will each receive Tournament Tickets to three (3) Challenge 2 Freeroll Tournaments, based on which Leaderboard they qualified for. These tickets will be credited to each player’s account at the conclusion of Challenge 1.

There will be three (3) Freeroll Tournaments for Low Leaderboard qualifiers, each with $5K prize pools, three (3) Freeroll Tournaments for Medium Leaderboard qualifiers, each with $10K prize pools, and three (3) Freeroll Tournaments for High Leaderboard qualifiers, each with $15K prize pools. All Challenge 2 Freeroll Tournaments begin at 16:30 ET on Saturday, March 19th, 2011. In order to participate, players must use their Tournament Tickets to register for each Freeroll.

The winner of each Freeroll Tournament will advance to the Challenge 3 Matrix Sit & Go Tournament. If the same player wins more than one Freeroll Tournament, the Challenge 3 Matrix Sit & Go Tournament will be played with fewer than nine (9) players.

Challenge 3 – Matrix Sit & Go Tournament

The nine (9) Challenge 2 Freeroll Tournament winners will be automatically registered for the Challenge 3 Matrix Sit & Go Tournament. As noted above, it is possible for this tournament to run with fewer than nine (9) players if necessary.

The Challenge 3 Matrix Sit & Go Tournament runs at 16:30 ET on Sunday, March 20th, 2011. Players will compete for their share of $25,000 in prize money. The player who earns the highest Matrix Score at the conclusion of the tournament will advance to Final Challenge. In the event that there is a tie for the highest Matrix score, a special Sit & Go tournament will be scheduled to determine a winner.

Final Challenge – Heads-Up Sit & Gos Versus Tom Dwan

The player who advances to the Final Challenge will face Team Full Tilt member Tom Dwan in four simultaneous heads-up Sit & Go tournaments at 16:30 ET on Sunday, March 27th, 2011. This challenger holds the right to select either No-Limit Hold ‘em or Pot Limit Omaha as the game type for any of the four Sit & Go tournaments.

The challenger must win at least one of the Sit & Go tournaments to earn any further prize money. Prize money will be awarded based on the number of Sit & Go tournaments won:

  • If the challenger wins one (1) Sit & Go, they earn a total of $25K
  • If the challenger wins two (2) Sit & Gos, they earn a total of $50K
  • If the challenger wins three (3) Sit & Gos, they earn a total of $150K
  • If the challenger wins all four (4) Sit & Gos, they earn the grand prize of $1,500,000

Please note that prize money is not cumulative, players will only earn the prize money associated with the number of Sit & Go tournaments they win.

All players must meet Full Tilt Poker's eligibility requirements to participate in the Promotion, and Full Tilt Poker reserves the right to modify these rules at any time, and for any reason, at its sole discretion.
