Christian Kruel plays online at Full Tilt Poker.

Originally a talented backgammon player, Christian was first attracted to poker after seeing the film “Rounders”. During a trip to Las Vegas in 1999 for a live backgammon tournament, he hit the tables to give poker a try. He immediately realized he had a talent for the game, and ended up playing more poker than backgammon. Having developed a love for the game, Christian quickly moved on to playing poker online and began building the bankroll for his new career.
The Rio de Janeiro based pro started out playing ring games, but it wasn’t long before his competitive nature led him to the tournament arena. He can now be found playing higher-stakes Multi-Table Tournaments and Sit & Gos on a regular basis. Following this success, Christian has exploded onto both the live and online tournament circuits, consistently racking up very impressive results in large tournaments.
Christian’s took 8th place in the $7,800 No-Limit Hold ‘em Main Event at the WPT 2005 Caribbean Adventure, and he walked away with more than $90K. His biggest live score to date came at the Conrad Poker Tour 2008 where he placed 3rd and earned $135K. Christian also had strong finishes in the Bay 101 Shooting Stars WPT $10,000 No-Limit Hold ‘em Main Event and at the Third Annual Five-Star World Poker Classic in Vegas. Christian crashed through the $1 million prize money barrier in 2008, and is certainly at the top of his game.
Look out for Christian online and join him at the tables on Full Tilt Poker.
