Christoph Wolters of Hamburg, Germany has played poker for years. His career began while dealing blackjack at a casino in nearby Kassel, where he was introduced to Seven-Card Stud. As one of the first people to pick up the game, he became an avid player.

Christoph left his job as a dealer, ordered several poker books from the US, and devoted himself to learning poker. After roughly six months of developing his game, he once again became a regular in the casino, only this time as a player. Christoph honed his talent there for the next three years until moving on to bigger stakes in Dortmund where he further developed his Texas Hold ‘em and Omaha games.

As his skill increased, so did his list of tournament victories. In addition to cashing in tournaments all over Europe, Christoph made final tables at the Bellagio Five Diamond Poker Classic and the World Poker Finals at Foxwoods, respectively. His biggest tournament victory to date came in 2006 when he took first place in the Christmas Poker Championship in Bregenz, Austria, earning over €24K.

Away from poker, he enjoys the company of his wife and children, spending as much time as possible on the golf course.
