Based south of Buenos Aires in Chascomus, Damian is one of Argentina’s best known poker players.

A lawyer by profession, Damian learnt to play poker with friends and only started to get serious about poker in 2006. Within three months he had grown his bankroll to $3,000. In 2007 and 2008, Damian concentrated on increasing his poker skills and moved gradually up to the high-stakes levels. His favorite game is short-handed No-Limit Hold ‘em.

In 2009, Damian focused on live Championship tournaments and has been consistently successful. Early in the year he cashed in two events on the Latin American Poker Tour, with a 3rd place finish for $52,380 and a 15th place for $21,160. Moving on to the WSOP, he placed 49th in the $3,000 No-Limit Hold ‘em – Triple Chance event for $9,145 and 57th for $7,866 in the $2,000 No-Limit Hold ‘em tournament. Between these two WSOP events, Damian finished first in a $1,000 No-Limit Hold ‘em event in Bellagio Summer Dailies and won $18,335.
