Daniele Mazzia plays online at Full Tilt Poker.

Born and raised in Italy, Daniele Mazzia is now based in Monte Carlo. He originally made a living by running a cooperative business in the health industry. Daniele was introduced to poker by a friend who played online, and he decided to give it a try. He honed his skills playing online poker, before transferring his skills to the live tournament circuit. Daniele discovered that he preferred the competitive aspect of live tournaments, and slowly built his bankroll by playing low buy-in No-Limit Hold ‘em tournaments and practicing careful money management. In 2006, Daniele made the decision to play poker full time.
Daniele’s first big score came in July 2007 when he placed 2nd in the €1K No-Limit Hold 'em Main Event at the 1st Campionato Internazionale di Poker di Campione d'Italia, for almost $50K. Later that month he won the Masters Poker Woerthersee Trophy & Casino Velden Master’s €2K No-Limit Hold 'em Main Event for more than $100K. In 2008, he won an additional $500K for a 4th place finish in the €8K European Poker Tour Barcelona Open event. All told, Daniele has amassed more than $800K in career tournament earnings.
When he’s not playing live tournaments, Daniele hones his skills by playing online poker for up to eight hours a day. Outside of poker, Daniele has a healthy interest in sports and plays football as well as being an avid swimmer.
