Felipe 'Mojave' Ramos plays online at Full Tilt Poker.

Born in Sao Bernardo do Campo, near Sao Paolo, Felipe 'Mojave' Ramos was working in the financial markets for a North American Multinational company when a friend invited him along to a poker night after work.
Ramos took to the game immediately and within months was reaching final tables at some of Brazil’s biggest tournaments. The Brazilian built his bankroll by winning tournament seats through satellites, then cashing in the live events. His breakthrough win came in Stage 7 of the 2007 Brazilian Series of Poker in Sao Paolo, which prompted him to turn professional.
After some success on the European Poker Tour in 2008, followed by strong performances on the Latin American Tour in early 2009, Felipe headed to Las Vegas for the 2009 World Series of Poker. He made an immediate impact, reaching the final table of the $5,000 Pot-Limit Omaha event, eventually finishing sixth.
In 2010, Felipe made his second appearance at a WSOP final table, this time in the European edition of the world’s most prestigious poker series. He would depart in seventh place in the £5,000 Pot-Limit Omaha event to cement his reputation as one of the top Pot-Limit Omaha players. A reputation that he further enhanced in October, by winning the Pot-Limit Omaha tournament at the WSOP Circuit Event in Gauteng, South Africa - the first WSOP event held in Africa.
In addition to his success at Pot-Limit Omaha, Felipe continues to play all forms of poker to sharpen his game. His advice for new players is to play within your limits and study hard. As he explains "practice brings experience; experience brings creativity and wisdom."
When not playing poker, Felipe composes music and is a big sports fan.
