Overview
The Battle of the Blogger 5 Tournament of Champions will be held on May 27. The top 3 spots in the 24 player freeroll will receive $10,000 seats in the Main Event and accommodations at the Rio All-Suites Hotel and Casino. 4th and 5th place will earn $2,000 Bracelet Race packages, good for many of the preliminary WSOP events.
Participation
There are 3 ways to win a seat in the Tournament of Champions:
- Win a Poker from the Rail tournament between April 19th and May 24th. The tournament is a $24+2 deepstack No Limit Hold’em event held every Monday at 22:00 ET. Poker from the Rail is Full Tilt’s blog, where you’ll find AlCantHang and DaveMcCarthy providing BBT updates throughout the series.
- Win "The Mookie" between April 21st and May 26th. The Mookie is one of the longest running blogger tournaments on Full Tilt, featuring many poker bloggers and their readers. The $10+1 event is played every Wednesday night at 22:00 ET.
- Poker from the Rail and "The Mookie" will provide half the Tournament of Champions’ field. The other half will come from the top two finishers in each of the Battle of the Blogger Invitational Events, a private tournament series for many of poker’s most beloved bloggers to battle it out against the mainstream media.
