Full Tilt Poker’s MiniFTOPS XX increases guaranteed prize money to more than $12.5 million

Dublin, Ireland

All 45 tournaments to be hosted by a Full Tilt Poker pro

Full Tilt Poker has announced that the upcoming MiniFTOPS XX will boast guaranteed prize money of more than $12.5 million – a massive increase on the $8 million guaranteed in the last iteration of the tournament series. Featuring similar events to its sister FTOPS XX tournament series, but at approximately 1/10th the buy-in, MiniFTOPS XX offers players an affordable way to take a shot at enormous prize pools.

Running from May 8th through May 22nd, MiniFTOPS XX consists of 45 pro-hosted tournaments, culminating in the $3 million guaranteed MiniFTOPS XX Main Event. The Main Event is one of 17 Multi-Entry Tournaments scheduled, a format that allows players to take numerous shots at winning a share of the huge prize pools. The series also includes eight Rush Poker* Tournaments, another format exclusive to Full Tilt Poker, which enable players to enjoy the world’s fastest poker tournaments.

Further highlights of MiniFTOPS XX are The Two-Day Event, which begins on May 21st and guarantees $1 million in prize money, and the $1,000 No Limit Hold ‘em Heads Up event, scheduled for May 14th and featuring a guaranteed $300K.

Satellite tournaments to all MiniFTOPS XX events run from April 25th, with satellite buy-ins a fraction of the cost of buying in directly. Players planning to satellite in can participate in the MiniFTOPS XX Satellite Challenge, which awards bonus buy-ins to the most successful satellite players. Players can also buy in directly to all MiniFTOPS XX events, with buy-ins ranging from $10 to $1,000.
