FTOPS XX increases guaranteed prize money to $38 million
Dublin, Ireland
Tournament series guarantee is $16 million higher than that of FTOPS XIX
FTOPS XX has increased its guaranteed prize money by $16 million, compared to FTOPS XIX, and now boasts a guaranteed prize pool of $38 million – the biggest guarantee in the history of the poker tournament series.
Running from April 17th through May 1st, the 45 tournaments will be headlined by the massive $7.5 million guaranteed FTOPS XX Main Event on May 1st. The Main Event is one of several Multi-Entry Tournaments scheduled, a format that allows players to take numerous shots at winning a share of the huge prize pools.
Full Tilt Poker flagship tournament series also features The Two-Day Event, which begins on April 30th and guarantees $2.5 million in prize money. A further highlight of the series is the $10,000 No Limit Texas Hold ‘em Heads Up event, scheduled for April 23rd and featuring a guaranteed $1 million. In total, 13 FTOPS XX events each guarantee prize money of at least $1 million.
Players can buy in directly to all FTOPS XX events, with buy-ins ranging from $100 to $10,000. Satellite tournaments to all events are running now, for a fraction of the cost of buying in directly. Full Tilt Poker is sweetening the deal for players planning to satellite into FTOPS XX tournaments with the FTOPS XX Satellite Challenge, in which players can win bonus buy-ins.
