FTOPS event seats must be won through FTOPS satellite tournaments. Players must win a minimum of two FTOPS event seats to qualify for a Freeroll:
- Players who win seats to two different FTOPS events will receive entry to the FTOPS Sat Challenge Freeroll 1
- Players who win seats to three different FTOPS events will receive entry to the FTOPS Sat Challenge Freeroll 2

FTOPS Hold ‘em Challenge
Players who participate in the FTOPS Hold ‘em Challenge must accomplish at least three of the following five tasks in a single, No-Limit Hold ‘em FTOPS event (excluding heads-up events) in order to win entry in up to three different Freerolls. All five tasks must be accomplished when at least five players have been dealt into the hand. The five tasks are:
- Win a pot worth at least 20 big blinds with AA or KK at least once. You do not have to showdown to win the pot.
- Bluff with Ace high or less on the river and win the pot at least once. If the community cards have made anything more than Ace high (a pair, two pair, a straight, a flush, etc.), you will not be able to accomplish the task on that hand. For instance, if a player holds 7-2 and the board reads A-A-A-K-K, that player will not be able to accomplish this task on that hand. If the player holds 7-2 while the board reads A-K-Q-J-9 (with no flush) and the player wins the pot by bluffing (without a showdown), that player will have accomplished this task.
- Win at least 30 hands without a showdown. This task must be accomplished throughout the course of a single tournament.
- Steal the same player’s big blind at least three times. This task must be accomplished throughout the course of a single tournament.
- Reraise all in preflop with a pocket pair at least once. The all-in move must be a reraise, not just a raise. For instance, if a player holds A-A, the action is folded around to him and the player raises all in, that will not serve to accomplish this task. If a player holds A-A, there is a raise in front of him and the player reraises all in, that player will have accomplished this task. Players do not have to win the pot to accomplish this task.
These tasks do not have to be accomplished in any particular order. This Challenge can be attempted in as many single, No-Limit Hold ‘em FTOPS tournaments as a player desires. A player must accomplish at least three tasks within a single tournament to qualify for a Freeroll:
- Players who accomplish at least three tasks within a single, No-Limit Hold ‘em FTOPS event will receive entry to the Hold ‘em Challenge Freeroll 1
- Players who accomplish at least four tasks within a single, No-Limit Hold ‘em FTOPS event will receive entry to the Hold ‘em Challenge Freeroll 2
- Players who accomplish all five tasks within a single, No-Limit Hold ‘em FTOPS event will receive entry to the Hold ‘em Challenge Freeroll 3
Please note that Freeroll entries are cumulative, meaning that any player who accomplishes all five tasks within a single tournament will receive entry to all three Hold ‘em Challenge Freerolls. Freerolls will take place the weekend of February 27th/28th. Please see the FTOPS Challenges Freeroll Schedule for more details.
FTOPS Survivor Challenge
Players who participate in the FTOPS Survivor Challenge must survive to level 10 in as many different FTOPS events as possible in order to win entry in up to four different Freerolls. Once a player has survived to level 10 in a single FTOPS event, the Challenge will be considered accomplished for that event. Players must survive to level 10 in a minimum of two events to qualify for a Freeroll:
- Players who survive to level 10 in at least two FTOPS events will receive entry to the Survivor Challenge Freeroll 1
- Players who survive to level 10 in at least three FTOPS events will receive entry to the Survivor Challenge Freeroll 2
- Players who survive to level 10 in at least four FTOPS events will receive entry to the Survivor Challenge Freeroll 3
- Players who survive to level 10 in at least five FTOPS events will receive entry to the Survivor Challenge Freeroll 4
Please note that Freeroll entries are cumulative, meaning that any player who survives to level 10 in at least five different FTOPS events will receive entry to all four Survivor Challenge Freerolls. Freerolls will take place the weekend of February 27th/28th. Please see the FTOPS Challenges Freeroll Schedule for more details.
FTOPS Double Up Challenge
Players who participate in the FTOPS Double Up Challenge must double their starting stack in as many different FTOPS events (not including rebuy and heads-up events) as possible in order to win entry in up to four different Freerolls. For example, if an event starts with 5,000 chips and a player reaches 10,000 chips at any point in the tournament, the Challenge for that event is complete. Players must double their starting stack in at least two different non-rebuy, non-heads up events to qualify for a Freeroll:
- Players who double their starting stack in at least two different FTOPS events will receive entry to the Double Up Challenge Freeroll 1
- Players who double their starting stack in at least three different FTOPS events will receive entry to the Double Up Challenge Freeroll 2
- Players who double their starting stack in at least four different FTOPS events will receive entry to the Double Up Challenge Freeroll 3
- Players who double their starting stack in at least five different FTOPS events will receive entry to the Double Up Challenge Freeroll 4
Please note that Freeroll entries are cumulative, meaning that any player who doubles their starting stack in at least five different FTOPS events will receive entry to all four Double Up Challenge Freerolls. Freerolls will take place the weekend of February 27th/28th. Please see the FTOPS Challenges Freeroll Schedule for more details.
FTOPS Zero to Hero Challenge
Players who participate in the FTOPS Zero to Hero Challenge must accomplish the following tasks in order to win a cash bonus:
- Start the Challenge by playing in any FTOPS Super Satellite tournament and win a seat into an FTOPS Satellite.
- Play in the FTOPS Satellite and win a seat into that FTOPS Event.
- Go on to make the money in that event and win a $50 bonus on top of any prize money earned.
- Go on to make the final table in that event and win a $500 bonus on top of any prize money earned.
- Go on to win that event and win a $5,000 bonus in addition to the first-place prize money.
For instance, if a player wishes to participate in the Zero to Hero Challenge for FTOPS Event #1, they could start out by playing in the $2 + $0.25 Super Satellite to FTOPS Event #1 and win an entry to the $50 + $5 Satellite to FTOPS Event #1. The player would then have to win a seat to FTOPS Event #1 through the $50 + $5 Satellite to FTOPS Event #1 and then make the money in FTOPS Event #1 to receive a $50 bonus. If that player went on to make the final table of FTOPS Event #1, they would receive a $500 bonus. If that player went on to win FTOPS Event #1, they would receive a $5,000 bonus on top of their first-place prize money. Please note that bonus money is not cumulative, so if a player completes all five tasks of this Challenge, they will only receive a $5,000 bonus.
The Zero to Hero Challenge can only be accomplished in FTOPS events that offer super satellite tournaments. Event #7 and Event #23 do not offer super satellite tournaments and will not count towards the Challenge. Any bonus money earned will be paid out after the completion of each event. Players can participate in the Zero to Hero Challenge for as many different applicable FTOPS events as they wish.
FTOPS Million Dollar Challenge
Players who participate in the FTOPS Million Dollar Challenge must make the money in at least 17 different FTOPS events in order to win a $1,000,000 bonus. The $1,000,000 bonus will be paid out within two weeks of the end of the FTOPS promotion.
