Greg was born in Fullerton, California and began playing poker the first time he set foot in the Commerce Casino in Los Angeles. He hasn’t stopped yet.

By the late 1990s, Greg had earned his journalism degree and had been working as a sports writer for seven years before quitting to begin playing in the biggest cash games in L.A. Greg's made numerous World Series of Poker final tables, mostly in Omaha Hi/Lo, where he took second place at the 2002 WSOP. Greg continues to make his living playing in high-stakes mixed games.
