Jackie Glazier plays online at Full Tilt Poker.
A fiercely competitive player with an appetite for a challenge, Jackie began playing poker after being introduced to the game by friends in 2008.
She describes herself as being like a “sponge” in her early days as a player, when she absorbed as much poker information and knowledge as she could. By the end of 2008, she was playing at a professional level.
Throughout 2009, Jackie became a fixture at Melbourne’s Crown Casino – the largest and most competitive poker arena in Australia – employing an aggressive style as she mixed it up with the best players from the region.
After establishing herself as one of the best poker players in Australia, Jackie headed to WSOP Las Vegas, where she cashed in the $10,000 No-Limit Hold ‘em tournament. She continued her good form when she returned to Melbourne and took down the AUD$1,000 No-Limit Hold ‘em tournament at the ANZPT II event, ahead of her fellow Full Tilt Poker pros Van Marcus and Simon Watt.
Due to the evolving nature of poker, Jackie believes that players should constantly develop their playing style to remain competitive. In her opinion, adaptability and flexibility are key components in every player’s arsenal.
Away from the tables Jackie likes playing sports and enjoying the great Australian outdoors.
