Jay Greenspan plays online at Full Tilt Poker.

A few years ago, before the poker boom, Jay was writing about open-source technologies and Web development when he discovered a low-stakes Limit Hold 'em game in a New York backgammon club. He became a regular there and, before long, was spending most of his evenings in the many clubs scattered throughout the city. He soon turned his full attention to poker. He wrote for many poker magazines and websites, and he blogged the 2005 and 2006 WSOP for Full Tilt Poker.

In 2005, Jay embarked on a unique poker adventure. He took a three-month cross-country trip from Connecticut to California. Every day after driving, he'd stop and do his best to find a club or a home game where he could attempt to build his bankroll. His goal was to have enough money when he got LA so that he could play in the high-stakes games once he reached Commerce Casino. The book Hunting Fish: A Cross-Country Search for America's Worst Poker Players chronicles his journey.

When Jay isn’t playing live, you can find him at the mid-stakes No-Limit Hold ‘em and Pot-Limit Omaha tables on Full Tilt Poker.
