- Producer for the forthcoming Full Tilt Poker Academy
- 1st player to cross the 1 million chip mark in 2008 WSOP Main Event
Jeremiah Smith plays online at Full Tilt Poker.

From Rockford, Illinois, Jeremiah has been playing poker for six years and may be the only pastor-turned-poker-player you'll meet. After playing nickel-dime-quarter with friends from church, he got his first taste of tournament poker at a bingo center in Manchester, New Hampshire. It didn't take long before he was hooked, playing in the various charity tournaments held around the region.
A growing interest in the game led to a job covering the 2006 WSOP for Cardplayer magazine. That fall, Jeremiah joined the PokerWire team as a tournament reporter. From the Aussie Millions to the Million Dollar Cash Game, Jeremiah has first-hand experience of learning from the game's best players.
It was only natural that Jeremiah brought this knowledge to his role as a producer for Full Tilt Poker Academy, where he helps players "learn from the pros". Not one to just sit on the sidelines, he was able to use the concepts he learned from players like Howard Lederer and Allen Cunningham during the 2008 WSOP main event - Jeremiah was the first player to cross the 1,000,000 chip mark and finished in 45th place.
Now living in Las Vegas, Jeremiah enjoys playing mid-stakes HORSE ring games and no-limit tournaments on Full Tilt Poker. Away from poker, he's a self confessed football junkie, former rugby player and video game nerd.
Watch out for Jeremiah on Full Tilt Poker.
