What is Login with Security Key?
Login with Security Key is a method of additional authentication that uses a piece of hardware or mobile phone application to generate a new six-digit code every 30 seconds. This code is then used with your Player ID and Password to access your Full Tilt Poker account.
What is the difference between a Security Key and the Mobile Application?
The Security Key is a piece of hardware as shown above. The Mobile Application allows you to download a program to your mobile phone that enables it to perform the same function.
Both of these options for Login with Security Key provide a six-digit security code that changes automatically every 30 seconds. This is the additional code used to access your Full Tilt Poker account.
How do I get a Security Key or Mobile Application?
You may order your Security Key or Mobile Application from the Full Tilt Poker Store. Once you receive your order, go to Login with Security Key or Login with Security Key: Mobile Application and follow the instructions on the page to activate your additional authentication device.
Can I use the Mobile Application with my phone or mobile device?

Can I use my Mobile Application on more than one mobile phone?
While you may only use one Mobile Application per device, you may purchase additional Mobile Applications for additional mobile devices. You may also use a combination of physical Security Keys and Mobile Applications (up to 6) for further Additional Authentication.
Having more than one Security Key associated with your account provides additional means of accessing your account in the event that one is lost or stolen.
Can I go back to using no additional authentication?
Yes. To go back to using no additional authentication, log in to your Full Tilt Poker account using your Security Key. Select Security from the top navigation bar and click on Additional Authentication. When the Account Security screen appears, select No Additional Authentication and follow the directions provided.
What if I lose my Security Key or mobile device?
If you have additional Security Keys associated with your account, you can remove the lost or broken Security Key by logging in to Full Tilt Poker with your additional key, clicking Security in the game lobby and selecting Additional Authentication. When the Account Security screen appears, select Login with Security Key, click Remove Security Key and follow the instructions provided.
If you lose your Security Key or mobile device, and have only one associated with your account, you will have to request that customer support remove the login restriction from your account using the process below.
Customer Service can change your account to No Additional Authentication so that you will only need your Player ID and Login information to access your Full Tilt Poker account if this happens. To do this, email Authentication-Support@Fulltiltpoker.com from your registered email address with the following information:
- Your Player ID
- The reason that you wish to revert back to no additional authentication
- The answer to the secret question that you chose for your account
- Photo ID: a valid driver's license, passport or other government-issued ID that clearly shows your date of birth and the ID's date of issue/expiration
- Proof of Address: a copy of bank/credit card statement, utility/cell phone bill, or home/auto insurance papers issued in your name and dated within the past 60 days
Once this information has been submitted, customer service will perform a security check prior to returning access to your Full Tilt Poker account to No Additional Authentication.
Can I unregister from tournaments if I lose my Security Key?
Yes. If you lose your Security Key and are registered for tournaments, you can retrieve your buy-in by unregistering. To unregister from tournaments, log in to Full Tilt Poker and enter your login and account password. You will then be provided with the Single Use Password entry dialog; select If you have lost your Security Key, please click here. The following screen will provide you with the Unregister from Tournaments option. You will need to enter your account password again and then select Unregister from Tournaments.
