Marco Sander plays online at Full Tilt Poker.

German player Marco Sander was born in 1989 and raised north of Berlin, Germany. In 2009 he broke onto the poker scene, winning the first ever Heads-Up – Das Poker Duell.
Marco is the first player in the world to achieve a €1 million tournament win without investing a cent, after gaining entry through a freeroll tournament. At the first season of Heads-Up – Das Poker Duell, a televised tournament sponsored by Full Tilt Poker, Marco beat out 16 finalists to claim the €1 million prize. He took some well-known scalps along the way, including Team Full Tilt’s Gus Hansen and Full Tilt Poker pros Martin Kläser and Markus Golser.
Marco has continued to build upon his success at the felt, reaching the final table of a €5,000 No Limit Hold’em event in Monto Carlo in April 2011. He finished in 8th place, winning a €37K ($53K) prize.
If he's not sitting at a poker table, Marco enjoys playing soccer at his local club, hanging out with friends, supporting his favorite soccer team (Hertha BSC Berlin) and hockey club (Eisbären Berlin), and of course playing online at Full Tilt Poker.
