Matt Hawrilenko plays online at Full Tilt Poker.
Matt Hawrilenko is one of the world’s leading Limit Hold ‘em players, utilizing his math skills to specialize in heads-up ring games.

Born just outside of Boston in Hanover, MA, Matt first discovered poker in the summer of 2003 during an internship in Washington, DC. He took to the game very quickly and was playing poker full time within two years.
Primarily an online player, Matt started out by playing $.10/$.25 No-Limit Hold ‘em ring games. Deciding he was better suited for Limit Hold ‘em − particularly heads up − Matt made his way up through the ranks and now plays as high as $2K/$4K Limit on a regular basis. He is well known for bringing his math-based strategy to the table every time he plays.
Most of Matt’s success in live poker has been at the World Series of Poker. He cashed eight times between 2005 and 2008, including a 5th place finish at the 2005 WSOP $3K Limit Hold ‘em event for over $65K and an 8th place finish at the 2006 $1,500 Stud Event for more than $15K. He also had a nice run in the 2005 Main Event, finishing in the money for more than $14K.
Outside of poker, Matt concentrates his energy on athletic endeavors. He’s a black belt in Kung-Fu and also a wrestling trainer for his old high school team.
