Welcome to the Million Pound Challenge

Taking place on September 15th and 16th, 2008, Full Tilt Poker’s Million Pound Challenge brought 80 online qualifiers to the Hellenic Centre in London for the chance to win £1 million.

Players qualified for the Million Pound Challenge by taking part in a series of online Freerolls at Full Tilt Poker. Of the 7,892 participants, the top 80 were awarded $1,000 in spending money, as well as a seat in the No-Limit Hold ‘em tournament at the live event in London. The winner of the tournament would earn the opportunity to take on Team Full Tilt’s Phil Ivey and Chris Ferguson, as well as Full Tilt Poker pro Roland De Wolfe in a series of heads-up matches for the £1 million grand prize. MPC 2008 Winner

As winner of the Million Pound Challenge, Adam Noone defeated the 79 other online qualifiers at the live event in London and won heads-up matches against Team Full Tilt’s Phil Ivey and Chris Ferguson to go home with £200,000.
