Within a year of learning poker online, Nick Schulman won a seat for a WPT event and entered his first live tournament. Nick’s debut proved to be a command performance. He bested more than 780 players to take down the $10K No-Limit Hold ‘em event at the World Poker Finals at Foxwoods, becoming the youngest player to win a WPT event and a record $2.1 million.
In 2007, Nick placed 2nd in the WPT $10K No-Limit Hold ‘em event at Foxwoods in 2007, working his way through a field of 575 competitors for over $860K. In 2008, he cashed in the WPT $15K No-Limit Hold 'em Doyle Brunson Classic at the Five Diamond World Poker Classic, and the WPT $9.9K No-Limit Hold ‘em Main Event at the L.A. Poker Classic in Los Angeles.
In 2009, Nick won his first WSOP bracelet in the $10K World Championship Deuce to Seven Lowball event. After three days of poker against some of the world’s best poker players, he defeated a field of 95 opponents for the $279,742 top prize and a coveted bracelet.
