Promotion Name: Full Tilt Poker.com $10 Million Main Event Mania (the "Promotion")
Promotion Dates: Saturday, March 1st, 2008 to Sunday, June 22nd, 2008
Full Tilt Poker.com (the "Company"), will conduct the Promotion substantially as described in these rules, and by participating, each participant agrees as follows:
1. DESCRIPTION OF PROMOTION/PARTICIPATION
A. Dates of Promotion: The Promotion will be conducted beginning Saturday, March 1st, 2008 and will end on or about Sunday, June 22nd, 2008.
B. How to Enter: Qualify for the World Series of Poker* Main Event by winning a seat on Full Tilt Poker.com.
C. Obtaining Promotional Prize(s):
If a participant cannot be contacted from the information provided on the Full Tilt Poker registration forms, the Company reserves the right to disqualify that participant at its sole discretion.
2. TOURNAMENT ENTRY WORTH $10,000
The winner will be provided a $10,000 entry into the World Series of Poker Main Event along with $2,000 to be used for travel and expenses.
All promotional prizes, items, merchandise, and any other materials must be redeemed by winner in accordance with the Company rules as expressly authorized and provided for by the Company. If a participant is disqualified, the Company reserves the right to determine an alternate promotional winner or not to award any winner in its sole discretion.
Players who win multiple seats will receive one (1) WSOP Main Event seat and have $10,000 credited to their Full Tilt Poker account. If a player wins a $10,000 WSOP Main Event seat and a $12,000 World Series of Poker Main Event prize package through one of Full Tilt Poker’s other promotions, they will keep the prize package and have $10,000 credited to their Full Tilt Poker account. All credits to a player’s Full Tilt Poker account will be made using T$.
If a player has won a WSOP Main Event seat at Full Tilt Poker, and wins a WSOP Main Event seat at another venue, whether it is online or in a brick-and-mortar casino, Full Tilt Poker will credit the player with $10,000 in T$, provided they furnish Full Tilt Poker with a copy of their seat registration form for the Main Event.
If a player takes the $10,000 in T$ for the WSOP Main Event seat they won through Full Tilt Poker, they will no longer be eligible for Full Tilt Poker’s $10 Million WSOP Main Event Mania, and will not receive $10 Million from Full Tilt Poker if they should win the WSOP Main Event.
3. FULL TILT POKER'S $10 MILLION MAIN EVENT MANIA
All players who earn an entry into the Main Event through Full Tilt Poker will be eligible to collect $10,000,000 should they win the tournament.
If a Player reaches the final table of the Main Event, but does not finish in first place, Full Tilt Poker will provide them with a one-time cash payment of $50,000; provided, however, that the player wears the Full Tilt Gear whenever possible during the Main Event, including when playing at non-televised tables, and during any and all interviews. If a player finishes in either second or third position at the Main Event, Full Tilt Poker will provide them with a one-time cash payment of $100,000; provided, however, that the player wears the Full Tilt Gear whenever possible during the Main Event, including when playing at non-televised tables, and during any and all interviews. A player who collects either $50,000 or $100,000 from Full Tilt Poker will not be required to fulfill any future promotional obligations on behalf of Full Tilt Poker.
Full Tilt Poker will pay out the $10,000,000 prize in equal $1,000,000 installments over a 10-year period. Players must agree to a 10-year exclusive endorsement contract with Full Tilt Poker allowing us to use their name, voice, and likeness in all future online and offline promotions. Additionally, Player agrees to play a minimum of 10 hours per week at Full Tilt Poker.com, and to attend any promotional events or tournaments that Full Tilt Poker deems appropriate. Player will be ineligible to promote any other online or offline poker-related company.
Additionally, Player must agree to only wear Full Tilt Poker gear at the Main Event whenever possible, including when playing at non-televised tables, and during any and all televised interviews, and at all future tournaments and professional poker-related appearances throughout the duration of this agreement, where allowed by the event organizer.
Full Tilt Poker retains final approval rights in regard to any other endorsements the Player may be interested in pursuing, and will not unreasonably withhold such permission.
4. ELIGIBILITY & LIMITATIONS
Participants must be at least 21years old at the time of entry as determined by the Company. Participant assumes any and all liability for use of the promotional items. Only one (1) entry per person. Only one (1) prize package per person for the Promotion. Employees of the Company and members of the immediate family or member of the same households of any such persons are not eligible to participate and win; additionally, all affiliates and subsidiary companies, their advertising and promotional agencies, representatives, assignees and beneficiaries, and each of their immediate family members or member of the same households of said affiliates, their contractors, employees and directors are not eligible. The term "immediate family" includes spouses, siblings, parents, children, grandparents, and grandchildren, whether as "in-laws," or by current or past marriage(s), remarriage(s), adoption, co-habitation or other family extension.
5. TELEPHONE & DELIVERY DISCLAIMER
Participants are restricted to use of ordinary and typical computer equipment and internet access. The Company disclaims all liability for the inability of a participant to complete or continue an entry due to equipment malfunction, busy lines, inadvertent disconnections, acts beyond the Company's control, or otherwise. The Company disclaims any liability for received entries due to technical difficulties or transmission errors. The Company disclaims all liability for any delays, misdelivery, loss, or failure in the delivery of any item sent by electronic transmission. The Company is not responsible for mechanical, technical, electronic, communications, telephone, computer, hardware or software errors, malfunctions or failures of any kind, including: failed, incomplete, garbled or delayed transmission of online entries, traffic congestion on telephone lines, the Internet or at any website or lost or unavailable network connections which may limit an online entrant's ability to participate in the Promotion, and any injury or damage to entrant's or any other person's computer related to or resulting from participating in or downloading any information necessary to participate in the Promotion.
6. PUBLICITY
By participating, where allowed by law, all participants and winner(s) grant the Company exclusive permission to use their names, characters, photographs, voices, and likenesses in connection with promotion of this and other Promotions and waive any claims to royalty, right, or remuneration for such use. By participating, where allowed by law, participants agree that the Company may disclose personal information obtained from participants in the Promotion to third parties and use such information for marketing and other purposes.
7. RELEASE
By participating, each participant and winner waives any and all claims of liability against the Company, its employees and agents, the Promotion's sponsors and their respective employees and agents, for any personal injury or loss which may occur from the conduct of, or participation in, the Promotion, or from the use of any prize.
8. TAXES
Any valuation of the promotional prize(s) as stated above is based on available information provided to the Company, and the value of any prize awarded to a winner may be reported for tax purposes as may or may not be required by law. Each winner is solely responsible for reporting and paying any and all applicable taxes and paying any expenses associated with any promotional prize(s) which are not specifically provided for in the official rules. Prizes are not transferable or exchangeable for any other prize(s) except as expressly authorized by the Company.
9. CONDUCT & DECISIONS
By participating in the Promotion, participants agree to be bound by the decisions of Company personnel. Persons who violate any rule, gain unfair advantage in participating in the Promotion, or obtain winner status using fraudulent means will be disqualified. Unsportsmanlike, disruptive, annoying, harassing or threatening behavior is prohibited. The Company will interpret these rules and resolve any disputes, conflicting claims or ambiguities concerning the rules or the Promotion and the Company's decisions concerning such disputes shall be final. If the conduct or outcome of the Promotion is affected by human error, any mechanical malfunctions or failures of any kind, intentional interference or any event beyond the control of the Company, the Company reserves the right to terminate this Promotion, or make such other decisions regarding the outcome as the Company deems appropriate. All decisions will be made by the Company and are final. The Company may waive any of these rules in its sole discretion.
ANY ATTEMPT BY A PROMOTIONANT OR ANY OTHER INDIVIDUAL TO DELIBERATELY CIRCUMVENT, DISRUPT OR DAMAGE ORDINARY AND NORMAL OPERATION OF THIS PROMOTION, TELEPHONE SYSTEMS OR WEBSITE, OR UNDERMINE THE LEGITIMATE OPERATION OF THE PROMOTION IS A VIOLATION OF APPLICABLE CRIMINAL AND CIVIL LAWS AND SHOULD SUCH AN ATTEMPT BE MADE, COMPANY RESERVES THE RIGHT TO SEEK DAMAGES FROM ANY SUCH PARTICIPATE TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW.
10. MISCELLANEOUS
Each participant may be required by Company to submit proof of eligibility to claim the promotional prize(s). Void where prohibited. Odds of winning depend upon the number of participants. The Company may substitute promotional prizes, amend the rules, or discontinue the Promotion at any time as may be posted on the website. The Promotion is subject to change at any time. The Promotion is a package of promotional prize(s) and cannot be segregated or otherwise separated by the participant. All promotional prize(s) are Non-Refundable and Non-Transferable. There are no exceptions. The Company disclaims any responsibility to notify participants of any aspect related to the conduct of the Promotion. All participant entries shall become the property of the Company and will not be returned to participants.
11. COMPLIANCE WITH APPLICABLE LAW
The conduct of the Promotion is governed by applicable laws, if any, which take precedence over any rules which may be contrary to or inconsistent with those rules as stated above.
