Latest Full Tilt Online Poker Series offers a massive $38 million guaranteed prize pool

The 20th edition of Full Tilt Poker’s flagship online poker tournament series, FTOPS XX, launches Sunday, April 17th with a total of $38 million in guaranteed prize money – $16 million more than the FTOPS XIX guarantee.

FTOPS XX features 45 tournaments – each hosted by a Full Tilt Poker pro – with 13 events offering guaranteed prize money of at least $1 million.

The series gets underway at 17:00 ET on April 17th with Event #1 – a $200 + $16 No Limit Hold'em Multi-Entry Tournament guaranteeing $3 million – and culminates with the massive $7.5 million guaranteed Main Event on Sunday, May 1st.

Other highlights of FTOPS XX include the $10,000 + $300 No Limit Hold ‘em Heads Up event, scheduled for April 23rd and featuring a guaranteed $1 million, and The Two-Day Event, which begins on April 30th and guarantees $2.5 million in prize money.

Buy-ins for FTOPS XX events range from $100 to $10,000, and registration for all events is open now. Players also have the opportunity to satellite their way into any event for a fraction of the cost of buying in directly.

To celebrate the 20th edition of FTOPS, Full Tilt Poker is holding a Tournament of Champions on Saturday, May 7th at 15:00 ET. Every FTOPS Champion, from FTOPS I through FTOPS XX, will be invited to play for a 2011 WSOP* Main Event prize package (worth $12,000), plus a $20,000 cash prize.
