You Need To Be Sharp Going In
I have been playing a lot of poker lately. You need to be sharp going in, you know, seeing different situations at the poker table, so I played a ton of poker right before the World Series of Poker.
I am here for the whole seven weeks. I have a house out here. I’ll probably enter about 16 events, maybe more. It just depends. If I start an event and I make it to the second day then I’ll obviously have to cut that next event out. It all just depends, but right now I have 16 events on my schedule.
I am really excited. These are the most prestigious events of the year. I mean, winning a World Poker Tour event along with a million dollars is pretty great, but there’s something special about winning a bracelet at the World Series of Poker. When you walk into the World Series, you get this adrenaline rush. Because of that, I never get exhausted. I get exhausted doing other things, but when I’m playing poker I don’t get exhausted. I’m just so full of adrenaline.
My goal at this year’s World Series is to win a bracelet. I have no lesser goals. I want to win a bracelet. Period. Even though I am not necessarily going to walk around with it, there’s just something about physically having one. That’s your trophy. It’s the most sought after trophy for poker players. I can’t wait to win one. When I do, I am going to go to Tahiti for a month.
