Day Two of the HORSE Event
Today is going to be a sick marathon. I get burnt at midnight. I’m pretty much toast by then, but I’ll just Red Bull it if I have to. I’m not used to playing long sessions anymore. Tournaments are hard for me because I am five- or six-hour session player. It’s difficult but if I have some chips and I’m still in it late the adrenaline will keep me going.
I think it will last until 6:00 am because there are so many chips and it will stagnate after a while as it gets closer and closer to the end, especially with two split games in there. I think they should have definitely made it a four-day event. That would have been less harsh on the players.
I think the players might freak out when it’s four or five in the morning and there are still thirty or forty players left. They might say, “Let’s just add another day.” Remember, it’s a corporation that’s running this. They’re in the business of making money so as far as the players are concerned they’re not all that mindful of our needs.
As far as the stiff competition out there? They’re all mannequins to me, baby.
