As most of you know, the sites which have committed to shutting down US players have already started doing so, due to the recent ‘ban’ on internet poker. I, unfortunately, have had to cash out of more than one site for fear that my money would become the subject of suspended animation. In hindsight however, was it necessarily a good thing to be playing on so many sites? Perhaps not, perhaps so.

Full Tilt Poker was, admittedly, the second site I started playing and I eventually got wound up with other sites’ promotions due to the success I had in covering Full Tilt’s deposit bonus. I played here for quite some time, but then got greedy and started on other sites. Although I did well, starting up an unfamiliar site is like a box of chocolates…you never know what you’re gonna get.

Now, however, the players from these banned poker sites are starting to migrate to Full Tilt Poker, and I already have seen a different style of play then I have in the past on this site. Learning to adjust to this kind of player diversity is something positive though. I play every site differently, based on the players and their subsequent play, and find that this has made me a better player.

So I welcome the new players at Full Tilt Poker and look forward to playing you all…it’ll definitely improve my game.

I also want to thank Full Tilt in welcoming the blogger tourneys, such as “The M00kie” every Wednesday night at 10:00pm EST (he also has a second chance M00kie at 11:30pm) and the recently-established “Blogger Big Game” which runs every second Sunday at 9:30pm EST, including this coming Sunday. I encourage you all to sign up and play with us as the site and the players make it one heckuva time. You’ll find many of the previous posters (fellow bloggers) such as Iakaris, HighOnPoker, Fuel55 and a104l9 there. Hope to see you soon.

Thanks again to Full Tilt Poker for hanging around for us U.S. players.
