… and I’m no longer a part of it.

I busted in 105th just before the fourth break. I outlasted, by only a few minutes, Stuart Paterson, Aaron Bartley, and Erik Seidel. David Chiu is the lone Full Tilt Pro in the field. Chiu has World Series bracelets in three of the five components of HORSE – hold ‘em, stud, and Omaha. I hope for his opponents’ sake, they can take advantage of his obvious weaknesses in razz and stud eight-or-better. I busted David Chiu out of the Sunday HORSE several months ago, winning $200 and a tee shirt that I’ll wear until it rots off my back.

David Chiu, the lone remaining pro in Event 2

Here are the numbers: 102 players left. The chip leader, Arbol Linda, has over 51,000. (Arbol Linda was around the chip lead back in the days when I was a contender in this tournament.) The average chip stack is 16,735. When they return, the game will be Omaha eight-or-better, 1,000-2,000.

I’m going to take a break and report back later, or watch some of the later action and report on it tomorrow. Tomorrow afternoon, Erick Lindgren hosts $300 + $22 no-limit hold ‘em, $750,000 guaranteed. I expect to be there, and I’ll pass along my own funny, puzzling encounters with Erick.
