Coming out of the break, after 4 1/2 hours, the field is down to 110 players. The chip average is 56,000. The next players eliminated get $538.20.

#027 FTOPS #5 Update C Brother of Jon Bloch Near Chip LeadThe chip leader is ChesapeakeChubs with 240,00. MacDaddy34 has 181,000. Andy Bloch is third with 150,000. Huck Seed busted in 122th, with A-Q against 8-8.

When I told Andy the headline for this update, he said, ”I guess I have to finish higher than sixth,” referring to his brother Jon’s finish last night in PLO. Since Andy has brought up the matter of finishing position, I am trying to find out the most a Full Tilt Poker pro has made in a tournament.

According to thepokerdb.com, Andy’s best was winning the $18,000 Aussie Millions package. He also finished second in one of the Sunday HORSE events, for $5,600.

Clonie Gowen won the $25,000 Guarantee a few weeks back, good for over $8,000. Erick Lindgren won the HORSE once, making $9,860. Mike Matusow made a final table in the big Sunday tournament on November 5, finishing seventh, for $9,400. Carlos Mortensen was at the same final table, though, and finished third, earning $29,688.

Howard Lederer’s third place in the big Sunday event last August 13, for which he earned $40,000, was almost the biggest. Roland de Wolfe finished one place ahead of Howard, earning $56,000. That’s the Full Tilt pro leader, unless I missed something. (The winner of that event, Hoodini10, was at the same table as Allen Cunningham and Stuart Paterson at the start of this event, and Allen won a bunch of chips early against him with A-T against A-J. Allen got a ten on the flop, but there were two clubs, and Hoodini had A-J of clubs. I think Alan busted him inside the first hour, breaking up that table.)
