I was looking at a giant pot, a chance to flirt with the chip lead. For once, however, the great luck went someone else’s way. I did, however, get a familiar face to complain to.
Early in the 12-240 round, I got K-K in the big blind. jpo123 made it 700. Tony Pisser pushed all-in for 4,500. Another player moved all in for 3,500. I pushed all-in for 22,000, and jpo folded.
Tony had A-J. The other player had J-J. The turn card was an ace. I was briefly thinking about having 31,000 chips, but now I have 17,000 and that’s still plenty, though it’s not 31,000.
That closed down our table, thank goodness. Oh, there’s Andy Bloch two seats to my left at the new table. Wonderful.
