Chris Ferguson has come to life! At 3:15 PM, as I was making the last post, they played a $70,000 pot. Chris raised to $1,800 and was called by Erick Lindgren and Tony G – I think Erick and Tony were in the blinds. Tony led out with a $4,000 bet after a flop of 9-7-5. Chris called, Erick folded. After a nine on the turn, Tony checked, Chris bet $9,000 and Tony called. Chris bet $20,000 on the river and Tony called. Chris showed A-9 to take it. Tony claimed he had 9-8. I wonder ….
At 3:25 PM, they changed dealers and there was a break. I asked Chris about the chip castle he has started. “Are you going to make it any bigger?”
“I hope so.”
It’s a pretty simple design but it’s clear it wasn’t a frivolous action. He’s building his stacks on each side of the hole-card camera, to block (Bloch?) his opponents from seeing any reflection of his cards in the glass.
Brian Townsend as just arrived. I hear him talking with Uncle Tilty. He’s got $300,000 ready to go. But there’s not a space at the table for him and the dealer change goes quickly. The production company has got things under control and they’re under way after just a minute or two.
