morningjames had the idea of creating a section of the Main Lobby that allows players on the site to find all the red pros. I like this idea a lot because (a) it fits well with Full Tilt’s mission/slogan of “learn, chat, and play with the pros”; (b) it seems like something that could be implemented pretty easily; and (c) it is an advanced and better version of what Full Tilt recently did in automatically putting red pros’ names at the top of tournament registration lists so players could see which pros were going to play.

Dear Uncle Tilty,

I would add a section to the Main Lobby called “Pros” or “Play with Pros” that lists all tables at which a Red Pro is currently sitting (Tournaments, Cash Tables, SnGs).  This section would also include the name of the pro at each table and would be sortable by Pro Name (in addition to Date, Game, Buy-In, etc.).  “Play with Pros” could also be a tab in either the “Special” section or a newly named “Pros” section that also includes “Pro Chat”.

One of the best parts of FTP is the ability to play with so many top pros 24/7.  The Find a Player search and the recent modification to tournament lobby screens of listing pros first before the tournament has started (or when sorted by Player after that) are really useful.  But I want to be able to see all the Red Pros at once.  I think this change will make it even easier to find one’s favorite top pros, watch or join their table or tournament, learn something from them…and hopefully also make some money off of them.
