Patrik Antonius had just bought in for another $200,000 when he got a chance to put them into play in a pretty ballsy spot. Unfortunately for him, Tom Dwan didn’t blind.

Four players saw the raised, straddled pot, though it came down to Dwan and Antonius. By the river, the board was Ks-8c-4d-5h-2d. Tom had the best hand with Qh-8d for second pair but Patrik sensed weakness and with ace-high (As-9s) bet $80,000 into the $120,000 pot.

All Tom had was second pair and Patrik hit a bullseye by putting the pressure on him. Dwan thought for a long time – he’s made some big laydowns – and called. The $150,000 or so profit on that pot cut his $300,000 loss for the Game in half.
