Just when it looked like Ivan Demidov was fighting his way out of his corner, Peter Eastgate staggered him in a couple big pots and knocked him down by catching a trey on the turn to go with the pair of treys in his hand, making a full house and getting paid on the turn and river.

At 2:05 AM, Demidov may have been saved by the bell in the form of a twenty minute break. The crowd, smelling blood, issued a groan of disappointment.

Eastgate now has over 120 million chips and Demidov, with 16 million, will be pushed to his limits when play begins. Peter, by moving all-in for the first time on the hand before the break, made it clear he is ready to move in for the kill.
