#653 – From the Full Tilt News Desk, Part II – Super Sunday
Speaking of the Super Bowl, it is (A) the world’s biggest gambling event, (B) a gigantic big deal in Las Vegas, (C) a gambling-poker downer during the game itself. The entire poker world is watching game so there’s no one (but us) to win all the juicy Sunday tournament prizes.
Full Tilt lowered the guarantee of its big $200 + $16 tournament $750,000 to $500,000 for Super Sunday. It did not, however, at least as I write this, lower the guarantees of its other big Sunday events. The Sunday Brawl still guarantees $350,000. Both $150 $13 tournaments, the $50,000 Guarantee and the $65,000 guarantee, remained as their names indicate. The guarantee for the Sunday Mulligan is still $200,000, and the Sunday Night HORSE guarantee is still set at $30,000.
So I expect there will be some overlays for the Sunday tournaments.
