John Juanda and David Pham both fell short in their efforts to win bracelet no. 5 on Monday. A number of Full Tilt’s pros have chips in the Omaha-Eight-or-Better Championship and the $2,500 NLHE 6-handed. Today marks the start of the $1,500 PLHE and the $3,000 HORSE (in which I’ll be making my fourth attempt this year to snag bracelet number … one).

All counts are courtesy of the World Series of Poker. Transcription errors are mine and, though I’ll do my best to keep an updated list of who at the Series is affiliated with Full Tilt, apologies for misattribution. I will attempt immediately to correct any errors brought to my attention (mrchaotic@aol.com).

21. Karina Jett $5,556
57. Svetlana Gromenkova $2,864
117. Erica Schoenberg $1,900

Note: There are three Lisas at the final table. If you want to take that as a hint about naming your daughter to prepare her for poker prowess, that’s your call.
Event #18 – $10,000 Omaha Eight-or-Better World Championship
End of Day 2
Starters: 179
Prize Pool: $1,682,600

 3. Scott Clements 477,000
13. Toto Leonidas 133,000

Notes: John “Pouty McWhiskers” Monnette looks like he’s running away with this one, with a lead of nearly a half-million chips over his nearest pursuer and 5-8 times the stack of most of the remaining players … Clements is at Monnette’s table, which the other table has, as its four shortest stacks, Annie Duke, Toto Leonidas, Daniel Negreanu, and Ted Lawson.
Event #19 – $2,500 NLHE 6-handed
End of Day 1
Starters: 1068

Chip leader: Brett Switzer 183,000

72. Claudio Rinaldi 45,700
93. Erick Lindgren 31,600
129. Marco Traniello 12,177

Note: Roland de Wolfe bought in late and busted on his first hand, playing 4-2 in the big blind and flopping 3-5-6. His opponent, the small blind, flopped a double-belly buster with 9-7 and turned a higher straight when an eight hit the board. On the positive side, however, Roland got Chris Ferguson to buy him into the event, his only cost being the $20 juice he had to pay to get Chris to flip a coin with the loser paying both their buy-ins.
