#799 – 2009 WSOP #57 – Daily Tilt #28 – Friday, June 26, AM Edition
Thursday was a day for me personally to draw a breath and, for the most part, Full Tilt and the World Series of Poker did the same. So get ready for the roller-coaster ride to the finish: $50,000 HORSE, a flurry of events in the last week before the Main Event as everyone scrambles to make or break their Series, and then The Big One.

Notes: Perry Friedman, despite his goofiness protests to the contrary, is a talented poker player and indisputably has a brilliant mind. I’m not surprised to see him as the chip leader but I’ve also heard him say that he sometimes writes inflated numbers on his chip bag at the end of the night. Those numbers are not “official” in a sense that they have any credibility compared with what’s physically in the bag, so he’s not doing any harm or getting any benefit. But it does put in doubt whether he really has a lot of chips.
