Notes: My friend David Lappin, a Dublin Bellybuster, sent me a note about the third-place finisher, Dave Walasinksi. Like Lappin, Dave (as Otbdave) is a Bellybuster who plays on FUll Tilt. “He … pretty much ran over the table last night, going from the last of 9 to be 2nd of 3 when 3-handed. A dirty badbeat took him out in a pot that would have given him the chip-lead.” Tough break for Walasinski, but congats on the excellent play and the third-place money, $272,405 … This was the ninth event of the 2009 WSOP to reach full capacity.
CHIP COUNTS
All counts are courtesy of the World Series of Poker. Transcription errors are mine and, though I’ll do my best to keep an updated list of who at the Series is affiliated with Full Tilt, apologies for misattribution. I will attempt immediately to correct any errors brought to my attention (mrchaotic@aol.com).
For today, I haven’t yet received the release from Harrah’s with the chip counts. I’m going off Pokernews.com’s information, which is usually, at the end of the day, based on the WSOP’s numbers.
