#901 – WSOP Final Table Update #9 – The Grind

This has been a pretty remarkable day. Play started at 1 PM and, including breaks, they’ve been at it 10:20 as I write these words. Only two players have busted and, frankly, things could have been not much different and those two players would still be in. We are seven-handed and have been for a long time. It’s getting late, people are getting tire, the forward momentum seems to have stalled.

What’s this like? What does it mean?

Piece of evidence #1 – Shauna SOUGHT OUT Sasquatch and had her picture taken with him.

Piece of evidence #2 – Some of the members of the audience have fallen asleep in their seats.

Piece of evidence #3 – Shauna tried to take a photo of some huge woman walking around in a ridiculous costume and garish make-up. When she missed the picture, I asked her if she wanted to follow the woman out of the room to get it and figure out what the hell she was doing. Shauna said, “No. Why, are you crazy? Why would we want to do that?”

Piece of evidence #4 – Everytime someone in Joe Cada’s rooting section stands up, I hear the sound of bottles rolling under the seats.

Piece of evidence #5 – Shauna saw someone in press row looking at a porno-poker site, and a LOT of the media seem to have their Facebook pages visible.
