Poker From The Rail
a Poker Blog brought to you by Full Tilt Poker

It will be interesting to see the difference between yesterday’s noon starting tournament and today’s. Yesterday was the always insane $1,500 NLHE event and today brings us the $1,500 LIMIT Hold’em tournament. We will get a third as many players or will we see the true grinders come out in force? As I write this from the Amazon Room they have yet to put the tournament information up on the screen so I’m completely in the dark with everyone else.
There will plenty of other action between the Amazon and Brasilia Rooms as things kick into gear with the weekend warriors flooding back into town. We have a little bit of something for all tastes. Limit Hold’em, Pot Limit Omaha/8, Deuce to Seven Draw, Omaha-Seven Card Stud/8, the shootout final table and culling the $1,500 No Limit Hold’em field.
My assignments for the day will be checking out John Juanda to see if he can pick up his 5th World Series of Poker bracelet and tracking returning players in the Omaha/Stud split pot tournament. That includes such royalty as Phil Ivey, Shirley Rosario, Chau Giang and Carol Kline. That event will attempt to play down to it’s final table late this evening.
I’ve been getting a few questions through email and comments so I came up with a brilliant idea while sitting up at 3am. Intermittently throughout the week I will post a “Reader’s Mailbag” post with your questions and my answers. I know it’s a cliche, but the floor is yours. Feel free to drop me an email at AlCantHang@aol.com, no question too silly or serious. (Personal email posted on FullTiltPoker.com, that shouldn’t generate TOO many spam messages).
Later today I will bring you the pictures of Week 2 and I’ve found some fantastic stuff. Check back later today for some of the best.
