As the Main Event nears the money, tables are being cleared in the red section
After 7 full days of watching poker in the Main Event, today we will finally start seeing players head off to the cages after busting out. Not at the start of the day, but they will burst the money bubble sometime this afternoon. Just 789 players remain looking to squeeze into the money then onto the Championship. There are quite a few players sitting on very small stacks that will need to make moves and some monsters that will try to run over them.
Jordan Morgan is sporting the most chips amongst all member of Team Full Tilt heading into money day, 705,000 is a fine way to start things off. Phil Ivey, Chris Ferguson, and Paul Wisicka are also comfy at the cards go in the air. Ivey will be getting plenty of TV coverage as he has been moved to the ESPN feature table. He ran into some issues yesterday but is still stacked at 371,000.
The Brasilia and Miranda Rooms have been shutdown, the tables are broken and the lights are out. Roughly three quarters of the Amazon Room is still sporting tournament players but that will change quickly today. They are already dragging chairs and tables away from the red section except those being used for the uber juicy cash games.
I will be back later today and will begin live blogging the action as we near the money bubble.
No more play this year in the Brasilia Room
