Yesterday brought the big bracket drawing for the 2010 National Heads Up Poker Championship and there are some interesting matches to kick things off. Full Tilt pros Phil Ivey and Gavin Smith are set to meet in the first round in what I assume will be a very entertaining battle, I hope it is the “feature” table. Patrik Antonius will take on “poker boomer” Chris Moneymaker, another battle of Full Tilt pros with Erik Seidel meeting defending champ Huck Seed, Phil Hellmuth draws Howard Lederer for his first match and we’ll see a battle of the Jennifers with Harman meeting Tilly.
Play is set to begin today and the winner will be determined on Sunday. NBC will begin broadcasting the event on April 18th.
You can find the full bracket here on ESPN.com.
