DollarMainEvent Big Money Sunday April 4thFive more players have won their way into the 2010 World Series of Poker Main Event via a Full Tilt Poker satellite, but these five have the distinction of doing it for just $1. Yesterday was the first in a series of Sunday $1 Main Event Qualifiers where players can win their way into the Main Event for the smallest of buyins. Auburnfan634, Caring G Unit, sidse111, spagedzzzz, thebomberq battled their way through the satellite which started with over 44,000 players. With 5 Main Event packages guaranteed the players were working with an overlay that topped $15k, good value for a $1 tournament. The turbo structure allowed those players get their business done in a little over 4 hours.

The $1 Main Event Qualifiers continue to run each Sunday at 13:30ET and you can satellite into that event for as low as 50 FPPs. We’ll continue to track the players each week and hopefully have a chance to follow them along their way once they hit the Amazon Room for their Main Event experience.

The rest of Big Money Sunday produced a series of events that saw Full Tilt pros make several final tables with 2010 November Nine member James Akenhead just missing it in the Sunday Brawl and a 20th place finish. Jon “Pearljammed” Turner and Michael Tureniec started things off for team Full Tilt by both making the final table in the $200,000 Guarantee (rebuy) with Tureniec outdueling Turner. Adam Schoenfeld continued things with a 8th place finish in the $750,000 Guarantee and another South American Damian Salas finished things off taking 2nd in the Sunday Mulligan.

Full Tilt has plenty of promotions currently going on besides the daily satellites into the World Series of Poker. Take 2 money, FTOPS XVI satellites, and near constant freerolls. Check out the Full Tilt promotion page for details.
