Gavin Smith is playing in the 2008 Borgata Poker Open Main Event
The 2008 Borgata Poker Open Main Event has attracted a large contingent of Full Tilt pros. The 5 day $5,000,000 guaranteed prizepool pulled in an impressive list of big name players and the rail is full of curious onlookers. The structure is deep and slow allowing for plenty of play while the best players in the world look to dodge a minefield.
Even notoriously loose player Gavin Smith is trying to adjust his game. My favorite quote of the tournament so far came from him.
“I have a problem. I’m looking at both cards every hand and having trouble stopping myself from putting chips in the pot every single time. It’s a lot worse than normal.”
I almost feel sorry for his tablemates.
Below is the list of Full Tilt pros playing today. I will track their progress and dream of a televised final table full of Full Tilt gear.

Erik Seidel

“Miami John” Cernuto
