FTOPS XII Kicks Off

We’re going to take a quick break from preparing for the 2009 World Series of Poker for some online tournament action. Today brings us the first event of FTOPS XII tonight at 21:00ET with the Erick Lindgren hosted tournament. No Limit Hold’em 6-max for a $200+16 buyin and whopping $1,000,000 guarantee. It will be a big night on Full Tilt. FTOPS XII has 25 total events with $18 Million cool in guaranteed money.

For those with a smaller bankroll unable to pony up the big cash or satellite in, this time along Full Tilt brings you the MiniFTOPS to run at the same time, with the same hosts but at 1/10th of the big tourney buyin. Each event will have a huge guarantee prizepool and the structure will give plenty of play for a small buyin. MiniFTOPS is rocking a $2 Million guaranteed prizepool for 25 small buyin events.

I certainly don’t have the online bankroll to take a big run at the regular FTOPS. I’ll leave that for the big boys with the big talent. My goal is to attempt a little live blogging during my MiniFTOPS attempts, we’ll see if I’m able to accomplish that feat along with trying to actually win a poker tournament. I plan to play in the following events but may add a few others. I’m really leaning towards the $50+5 HEROS tournament and eliminating a few NLHE tournaments.
