FTOPS and More

We usually have a blogger-iffic rant to present to you every Friday, but I’m really not in a ranting kind of mood today. Instead, I feel like it’s been a while since we’ve really clued you all in to what’s going around here at Full Tilt Poker. Blame the WSOP, blame Tiffany Michelle’s breasts, blame us for not doing our jobs properly. Hell, blame Canada if you want. Whatever the case may be, you guys deserve better. So here’s a quick rundown of what’s going on around these parts, plus a little teaser of great things to come:

The Week at FTP: FTP Rules the World!
Posted by One Angry Monkey | Filed under The Week at FTP
It’s been a busy week here at Full Tilt Poker, with our pros (now hovering somewhere around the 2,000 mark) winning about one out of every four World Series events. I’ve been handed the monumental task of taking over for Big Donkey this week, as he’s busy taking care of press releases for each of WSOP winners from the weekend, so let’s hope I don’t screw this one up too badly. Reader Mail: Lord, Thy Name Be Antonius
Posted by One Angry Monkey | Filed under The Week at FTP
We’re only a few days into the World Series of Poker, and Full Tilt Poker is already lighting the poker world on fire. We’ve just signed uber-hunk (and The All-In-Uit fave) Patrik Antonius to Team Full Tilt, we’ve had more than a few of our pros reach final tables in the first couple of events, and we even had the first bracelet winner of 2008 in Nenad Medic. Expect all this and more to be fodder in this week’s edition of Reader Mail. Email us at pokerfromtherail@fulltiltpoker.com with any comments, questions, or non-sexually explicit fantasies about the poker playing hottie of your choice. On to the show:

In From The Cold

When my fellow Poker From the Rail bloggers were trying to encourage me to write my first post (under the guise of lessening their workload) one of the things they said to nudge me along was that it would be nice to have “a different point of view”.
This got me thinking – just because I’m a girl, is my view of the poker world really that at odds with my fellow bloggers? Of course men and women are different – I obviously don’t use those “differences” to type but God, it would be fun to try and I’d probably get a mention on Wicked Chops…. Anyways I digress…
