ANSWER FROM Michael Craig: I've played three hands and run into a straight, an ace-high flush, and a full house.

  • QUESTION FROM Louui: lol, y then do some poker sites not let US players on their .com site?

  • QUESTION FROM dis ID taken: ok... lets talk poker.... any good avatar tells?

ANSWER FROM Michael Craig: If my avatar looks fat, fold.

  • QUESTION FROM trikess: In a cash game is it wrong to want to see the flop even if you have terrible cards?

ANSWER FROM Michael Craig: depends on how much you can win vs. how much you can lose. The great thing about terrible cards is that you'll probably lose less on the pots you lose.

  • QUESTION FROM jamespedro69: running good huh mike?...

ANSWER FROM Michael Craig: So good that if I opened a funeral parlor ... no one would die.

  • QUESTION FROM dis ID taken: quick.. i got 36 suited in the small blind... help

  • QUESTION FROM Louui: is ftp rigged in favor of their red pros?

ANSWER FROM Michael Craig: If it is, they've been leaving me out of it for about two years.

  • QUESTION FROM AndreIJ6: I have been busted on the bubble way to offten and i try to play tight aggressive when i am middle stacked. How do u play a mid stack around the bubble

ANSWER FROM Michael Craig: If you're mid-stacked, I'd say your problem is with calling. If you raise and they fold, you pick up chips. If you get more action than you want, you can get away. But I'd have to watch you play a bunch. That's just a hunch.

  • QUESTION FROM GoldenRock666: i cant believe this site is still legal. this is so rigged soft

ANSWER FROM Michael Craig: Be logical. Rigged by who? The site owners are sitting on a multi-BILLION dollar business. If Phil Ivey won every hand he played at the highest possible stakes through rigging, the risk wouldn't pay. Honest site = billions if they keep the server running

  • QUESTION FROM jamespedro69: what is your biggest winninng session/ losing sesson?

ANSWER FROM Michael Craig: I play mostly tournaments. I won $110k once at the WSOP. Biggest loss? Every time I enter the WSOP Main Event, especially last year - a zillion satellite entries, busted in 4 hours.

  • QUESTION FROM dis ID taken: Today is International Women's Day... Who is the hottest female poker player?

ANSWER FROM Michael Craig: If I say, whoever I DON'T pick will be suspicious and I'll lose my seductive powers with them.

  • QUESTION FROM GoldenRock666: No they want bad players keep playin and thats why betters hands holds up not even close to as they ststically should

ANSWER FROM Michael Craig: Bad players will keep playing because they're bad - or inexperienced. No need to risk a multibillion dollar enterprise on that. It's suicide.

  • QUESTION FROM dis ID taken: quick someone pull the server plug

ANSWER FROM Michael Craig: Wait until I get a chip lead! Wait, I don't think I'll live that long.

  • QUESTION FROM bobanbomba: why is on FT so many times bad beat in hands ? what is your expiriance?

ANSWER FROM Michael Craig: I always get in with the worst hand, so I never worry about bad beats.

  • QUESTION FROM dis ID taken: will the Heat win a game?

ANSWER FROM Michael Craig: Magic 8 Ball says, "Signs point to yes."

  • QUESTION FROM AndreIJ6: how often would u play suited connectors like 79 or 610

ANSWER FROM Michael Craig: epends on lots of factors: position, prior action, stack size, if I'm in the blind, the way other players in the hand play.

  • QUESTION FROM GoldenRock666: there is so many bad beats to keep milions of bad players playin. they won some sick hands and enjoys keepin playin and payin FT rake. it even worse here than at PS

ANSWER FROM Michael Craig: ublish your data and your web site will be more popular than Huffington Post.

  • QUESTION FROM Louui: do u think doyle brunson will retire from poker this year?

ANSWER FROM Michael Craig: The Magic 8 Ball says: "Not likely."

  • QUESTION FROM trikess: Do all these pros we see on tv have millions of dollars and if they spend like you see on tv how can they keep them

ANSWER FROM Michael Craig: Some do, some don't. Lots of big tourney winners are broke or have been. Lots of others observe sound rules for bankroll management and investing. But that's not the typical "way of the gambler."

  • QUESTION FROM dis ID taken: How do you play AAXX out of position on a 9x8y7y flop?

ANSWER FROM Michael Craig: Depends on prior action - if I raised, or called, or was in the blind. Depends on position. And depends on the XX cards. Finally, depends on the stakes. In a tourney, can I get someone to fold? Can I afford to fold?

  • QUESTION FROM Louui: u think todd brunsons hair style is whats 'in' these days??

ANSWER FROM Michael Craig: The day someone convinces him his hairstyle is "in" is the day he gets a haircut. Todd marches to the beat of his own drummer, in classic poker style.

  • QUESTION FROM dis ID taken: crap i misclicked

ANSWER FROM Michael Craig: Here? Or in the game? Misclicking in the game may be my only chance of winning a pot tonight.

  • QUESTION FROM AndreIJ6: What type of table image is more profitable to exploit and play off of

ANSWER FROM Michael Craig: The OPPOSITE of the person trying to read you.

  • QUESTION FROM dis ID taken: if the party of the first part raises and the party of the second part called.... blah blah blah

ANSWER FROM Michael Craig: I want to find out about that second party. I heard it was a real blowout. The host was blind for three days.

  • QUESTION FROM DebbieOH: Do you ever use stalling as a tactic in tournaments?

ANSWER FROM Michael Craig: For years I never did and I thought it was "unsporting." Whatever that means. But I decided that on the bubble of a satellite, especially "cuz everyone else is doing it", it's probably a positive EV play. But that's the only situation where I'd consider.

  • QUESTION FROM AndreIJ6: are u a fan of the multi entry tourneys

ANSWER FROM Michael Craig: yes, though I usually enter just once. I like that OTHER people enter a lot.

  • QUESTION FROM dis ID taken: did Todd Brunson order his wife mail order?

ANSWER FROM Michael Craig: Angela? She's a darling. If he did, get me the mailing address. It was another smart investment for TB.

  • QUESTION FROM Louui: y is it so hard to bluff the pros and the donks? lol

ANSWER FROM Michael Craig: I find it extraordinarily hard to fold a hand online, especially if it's not a giant buyin tournament. I know this isn't positive EV, but sometimes I think, "If I'm wrong, I'll just enter another $26 tourney in 15 minutes."

ANSWER FROM Michael Craig: Or, as I sometimes tell opponents: I'm too dumb to bluff.

  • QUESTION FROM AirMiles13: you got mad one time in an FTOP Omaha H//L FL at me when I won a hand... why :(

ANSWER FROM Michael Craig: first time I ever lost a hand in Omaha H/L? If so, I'm sorry. I'm trying to learn to not be affected by outcomes. I'm better than most, but not perfect. But I'm trying.

  • QUESTION FROM jamespedro69: do you play for free on tilt, do you let friends play on your account?

ANSWER FROM Michael Craig: I WISH I played for free on tilt. I pay every entry myself. And I never let friends play my account. One time, I entered a SnG and had to take my daughter to the emergency room. I forgot I entered and my wife - who has zero experience, played it.

ANSWER FROM Michael Craig: But I didn't even know she did that until after. I take that rule seriously.

  • QUESTION FROM GoldenRock666: what are the main differences in playin 45 handed sngs and 500-5000 handed mtts

ANSWER FROM Michael Craig: In GENERAL, in the 45s, you're following a template to get in the money as often as possible. Not a lot of people get paid so you automatically have a shot at the brass ring if you cash.

ANSWER FROM Michael Craig: In MTTs, 1/500 or 1/1000 of your entries will make you most of your money. Cashing means nothing. You have to make final tables.

  • QUESTION FROM AirMiles13: you actually got moved to a different table after it it was quite unfortunate enjoyed poaying with you

ANSWER FROM Michael Craig: Well, apologies if I acted out of frustration. I try to not do that and usually don't. Now I'm working on ignoring people who give me a hard time. That's when I usually go off, unfortunately.

  • QUESTION FROM doeboy132: Do you have a stratagy when it comes to making withdraw's? Such as do you make a weekly withdraw always leaving a curtain amount of money in ur account ETC?

ANSWER FROM Michael Craig: It's been so long. I don't remember ....

  • QUESTION FROM DebbieOH: I bet your wife is a better bluffer than you, she did get you to marry her afterall. JK

ANSWER FROM Michael Craig: She's better at a lot of things than me. I thought she had better judgment than me, but she married me ....

  • QUESTION FROM AndreIJ6: would you call a standard preflop raise with any pocket pair or do you have a minimum

ANSWER FROM Michael Craig: Depends on stacks. If I'one of us is short, I'll fold or push. If we're both deep, then I want to have the odds to hit a set and get paid.

  • QUESTION FROM Thomas Buckhorn: How do you deal with a long dry spell in a tourny? When the blind is creaping up and your down cards are terrible, or the good hands dealt to you are flopping to the callers.

ANSWER FROM Michael Craig: Get the last of your chips in, hopefully in a good way, preflop. And await the sweet release of the rail.

  • QUESTION FROM IUEC_Local50: mike?

ANSWER FROM Michael Craig: Hello, welcome to my pro chat for MiniFTOPS Event #7.

  • QUESTION FROM doeboy132: I'll try to make my question a lil' easier to answer about a stratagy for making withdraws. I'm for the most part a ring game player i play the same stakes don't really move up, would you make weekly withdraws if u were me n is it a good idea?

ANSWER FROM Michael Craig: 'd answer your hypothetical by referring you to Chris Ferguson's bankroll management lesson in the full tilt poker academy. Pick a level where (a) you're a favorite to win, and (b) where you have a big enough bankroll to weather fluctuations.

ANSWER FROM Michael Craig: If your roll gets smaller, you have to move down. BTW, "your bankroll" may or may NOT be the same as "the amount in your account."

  • QUESTION FROM 2_SHINE_2: hi michael craig, i watched ur video about T tourney at FTPA

ANSWER FROM Michael Craig: Your welcome/sorry.

ANSWER FROM Michael Craig: Is that a hockey term?

  • QUESTION FROM IUEC_Local50: how come i cant select an option to withdrawal??

ANSWER FROM Michael Craig: I'm guessing here, but I'd say it's because you haven't deposited through any of the options available for w/drawal. I think that's in the rules somewhere.

  • QUESTION FROM AdkJr2000: good to see you michael ready for the event ?

ANSWER FROM Michael Craig: I'm just worried the event's not ready for me. Or that I'll get sleepy before the big money comes.

  • QUESTION FROM 2_SHINE_2: do u fold ak if u do not hit a or k, with arond 10bb at mid stage, and pre-fold no akqj10?

ANSWER FROM Michael Craig: If I had 10bb, I'd have done everything possible to get my chips in PREflop. That's how you avoid having to make that decision.

  • QUESTION FROM Louui: LOL no XWINK is a young 21 year old canadian player who made 4k into 2 mill in 4 days playin poker

ANSWER FROM Michael Craig: Well, until he beats me in a $26 rush turbo, he's a nobody!

  • QUESTION FROM doeboy132: My question is more on making a withdraw from ur FT account to ur bank account cashouts not so much BRM but i guess its one of the harder questions to really answer cause every1 is different when it comes to that...

ANSWER FROM Michael Craig: I mostly withdraw when I need the money, but the amount in the account may decide how/what you play. That's what I meant.

  • QUESTION FROM IUEC_Local50: so what about me, i used a mastercard to deposit.... does that mean im SOL?

ANSWER FROM Michael Craig: i don't know the answer to that, sorry. I was just guessing at it because I thought that was generally the situation.

  • QUESTION FROM AdkJr2000: lol......just set it to auto fold

ANSWER FROM Michael Craig: Maybe I'd last longer if I did that.

  • QUESTION FROM AndreIJ6: If your targeting a weaker player do you expand your hand range and try to isolate him or just hope he raises when you have AA or somthing like that

ANSWER FROM Michael Craig: Depends on the type of weaker player. If he's weak tight, I want to get him to fold more by bluffing, semi-bluffing. Or hitting my weak hand to beat his strong one. If he's weak loose, I want to make him pay when I hit, don't think he'll go for a bluff.

  • QUESTION FROM doeboy132: I understand ty for ur help GL in ur tourney

ANSWER FROM Michael Craig: thx, you too.

  • QUESTION FROM crystal clean1: etter to slow your play the later into the antes

ANSWER FROM Michael Craig: Like I said I only consider that when I'm super-low and everyone else at the table is stalling so the blinds are too high for me to pay the next blinds and I may win the satty by folding.

  • QUESTION FROM dis ID taken: did u try taking a little blue pill to last longer?

ANSWER FROM Michael Craig: It got stuck in my throat. But now my Adams Apple is HUGE.

  • QUESTION FROM IUEC_Local50: wow so full tilt screwed me over... so now i cant collect my winnings.... WOW

ANSWER FROM Michael Craig: really. I haven't heard that before. Actually, I've mostly heard "full tilt screwed me so I don't have any winnings."

  • QUESTION FROM 2_SHINE_2: why do u not play only poker as usually as b4, u play a lot at 2006 to 2008 year, 2009 to 2011 didn't play a lot at ftp ?

ANSWER FROM Michael Craig: When I was winning, I played more and bigger. When I lose, I play smaller and less, and it's been a dry time for me. And I also write for money, which takes some time.

  • QUESTION FROM IUEC_Local50: how do you normally withdrawal? what method?

ANSWER FROM Michael Craig: Gun + Nixon mask.

  • QUESTION FROM Louui: who do u consider the best nlhe cash game player other than urself
