QUESTION FROM wx3: in deep stack poker tournaments in the lower blind levels (without antes), is there a reason to raise from late position with mediocre cards? obviously, a steal doesnt seem to be very profitable but also every bit counts
ANSWER FROM Nick Schulman: good question. it really depends on the situation. it's not to establish an aggressive table image and make people fear you, and if you feel confident with your post-flop play you can compensate for weaker starting hands.
QUESTION FROM noahlees2003: Hey Nick! Nice run at the repeat in the WPT event. During a tourney, you get a rush of cards, say 3 or 4 solid hands in a row, do you ever hesitate raising that 3rd hand in a row (say AJ, or 10's) concerned someone may play it back at you?
