  • ANSWER FROM Nordberg: Hey everyone, sorry I'm late

  • QUESTION FROM Verbal K: Hey Nordberg. I have been following your success for a while. How long would you say it took you to make it to the level of online "high level pro"? How did you start building to that level?

ANSWER FROM Nordberg: Took me a couple of years. I really was bad when I first started but eventually got some luck going in tournaments. I started winning in 2005 after struggling in 04.

  • QUESTION FROM crazycraig88: so, what poker software do you use to keep track of stats?

ANSWER FROM Nordberg: just use a spreadsheet to track my results. I don't use pokertracker or anything anymore.. I would if I played cash games.

  • QUESTION FROM ANason21: Where does your nickname come from?

ANSWER FROM Nordberg: its OJ Simpson's character in Naked Gun movies

  • QUESTION FROM Verbal K: what do you track in your spreadsheet?

ANSWER FROM Nordberg: just buy ins, amount won, etc

  • QUESTION FROM ANason21: Follow up - are you a fan of OJ Simpson, or just his character in Naked Gun movies?

ANSWER FROM Nordberg: just the character, i thought the movies were hilarious

  • QUESTION FROM crazycraig88: is playing tight against a grinder a bad idea?

ANSWER FROM Nordberg: depends on if the grinder can exploit your tight play or not. Some may not, so you can play tight and win.

  • QUESTION FROM Verbal K: f you had to start over... would you look to build your bankroll with MTTs or SNGs? I find myself cashing in 45% of the SNGs... but not increasing my bank I am thinking MTT is the way to go?? Thoughts?

ANSWER FROM Nordberg: 'm not sure, if you are in the money that often you should be winning money. Maybe you need help in the end game, winning the heads up battles. I'd simply play what you feel is your best game or what is most comfortable.

  • QUESTION FROM AlexTrebekIsGod: Hello Peter Feldman. Are you watching Isuldur vs Townsend?

ANSWER FROM Nordberg: haven't seen them today. Man those guys play big though, its crazy.

ANSWER FROM Nordberg: lol , some friends gave that to me I always wear polo shirts.

  • QUESTION FROM xcaryx: Hey Peter, how'd you get your nickname the polo?

  • QUESTION FROM gahunter221: peter every time i get pocket aa no matter how i play them i tend to lose can you help me

ANSWER FROM Nordberg: ep playing them, you will win in the long run with them.

  • QUESTION FROM ANason21: now a poker question - how, if at all, do you recommend altering your approach to a big MTT when you hit a few big hands and get into the top 10 in the early going?

ANSWER FROM Nordberg: open up my play a little, play a few more hands. But really I don't think you should change your approach all that much.

  • QUESTION FROM nancy221: Hi Peter Which would you rather have as a starting hand in Holdem, pocket Tens or big slick suited?

ANSWER FROM Nordberg: depends how many people I'm playing against, or what the situation is. Both hands are great.

  • QUESTION FROM MisterOpus1: hi peter. have you played the new rush poker game yet? I can't for the life of me find a good strategy to use for it. Any suggestions?

ANSWER FROM Nordberg: played it but I'm far from an expert. I would play pretty solid and straight forward.. you are likely to be in pots against legitimate hands, you need to be in there with a strong hand that can win a showdown.

  • QUESTION FROM WeleD: What would u do if u have 125k, and somebody raise pre-flop 20k and u have KK?

ANSWER FROM Nordberg: depends, I would either call and get it in on most flops or push in preflop hoping to get called.

  • QUESTION FROM Bryce Hopton: what do you think about isildur1?

ANSWER FROM Nordberg: 's got a lot of guts doesn't he? I have no idea how he plays, I've never played vs him. You have to admire him to take on so many good players. I hope he's able to stick around.

  • QUESTION FROM FSaces: nordberg what advice to someone who keeps losing putting money in with the best hand and get sucked out on its getting pathetic

ANSWER FROM Nordberg: advice would be to keep getting it in good. Thats how you win at this game. Things even out after awhile.

  • QUESTION FROM Verbal K: Bankroll management... when you got started, what was the max amount you would play wth for a MTT? 1 table SNG?

ANSWER FROM Nordberg: played small at the beginning, $20 satellites to $200 tourneys, small MTT's, small cash games, and other small SNG's.

  • QUESTION FROM lifs2short: hi

    ANSWER FROM Nordberg: hi

ANSWER FROM Nordberg: d recommend playing the game you're best at. Or the games where the players are the weakest. A slow steady climb with a good profit potential and little variance is the way to go. Tough to do though.

  • QUESTION FROM trivette1: starting out whats the fastest way to increace a bank roll

  • QUESTION FROM crazycraig88: is it possible to start at .01 and .02 blinds and make money to move up a level? I'm finding I win, but the rake is too high a % to make any money. Even if I win 50 cents, usually I get raked about that over all the hands I play.

ANSWER FROM Nordberg: can be tough to beat the rake, you have to look at ways to increase your profits... Or possibly look at other types of games. I would think its possible to beat the rake in those games.

  • QUESTION FROM Bryce Hopton: Who in your opinion is the best NL holdem player in tournament? and in cash?

ANSWER FROM Nordberg: ivey and ivey

  • QUESTION FROM Verbal K: Sorry... follow up. I was trying to see if you followed something like Chris Ferg's suggestions of no more then 5% of bank into SNG, 2% into MTT.... Seems to me that this is very tight.

ANSWER FROM Nordberg: Chris is good at math, I would think they are pretty accurate and those probably dont lend a high risk to going broke. If you are think they are too conservative and you are winning, play bigger.

ANSWER FROM Nordberg: guess not :(

ANSWER FROM Nordberg: ntastic tournament player. I think he's tough on dealers and other players at times though.

ANSWER FROM Nordberg: st don't like questions that are basically revolving around someone's bad luck.

ANSWER FROM Nordberg: rategy, with a large amount of luck. That's why the game has been so popular. If the best hand always one a large number of players wouldn't play.

  • QUESTION FROM trivette1: you thank the game of holdem is more luck ar stradagy

  • QUESTION FROM Buanano: are you think ivey is the best poker player on this world ??
